2024 Mission's Edge Roundtable Session:

Engaging the Next Generation in Missions

Join us June 18 @ 12 Noon-1 PM CT (US) | 1-2 PM ET

DESCRIPTION:

God is raising up a young generation to respond to his call in this critical hour we are in. There is a war waging, the enemy is also staking his claim on this generation. Sinfulness and wickedness have reached an unprecedented height in the last decade, resulting in a broken and corrupt society. In scripture, we see in times of crisis, God raises up a Nazarite to respond to the call and come against the evil that is prevailing in the land. These Nazarites were held to a high standard. A standard that set them apart from the world, in order to go all in for God. We believe that God is calling forth a Nazarite generation in this hour. But a Nazarite generation also needs spiritual fathers and mothers. They need the older generation to come along side them to cover, train, and intercede for them. God is also releasing an invitation to the fathers and mothers to join in this movement of raising up this young generation.

Panelist Background:

Tracey Chen has been dedicated to promoting the end-time worship and prayer movement for more than 10 years, and participated in establishing of the All Nations House of Prayer in Taiwan. She has raised up and mobilized hundreds of young worshipers and intercessors who are passionate about loving the Lord and welcoming His return, and longs for those who have not yet heard the Gospel or worshiped Jesus to come to know Him, and to rise up a sound of the saints to glorify the Lord to fulfill the Great Commission of Missions, and to welcome His return. In 2018, she began serving as the head of Taiwan-based Living Water Church Mission's Department, focusing on: promoting youth participation in the mission movement; training and sending out young people to enter difficult places, and promoting the participation of local churches in cross-country missions to see the movement of Macedonian voices at the end of the age.

As the head of All Nations Taiwan Hub she believes that this is a critical time for the evangelical movement to take over in Asia, and that the fire of the Gospel will be lifted up in the heartbeat of Taiwan-Asia, spreading everywhere the Gospel has not reached. Tracey is a Chang Jung Christian College graduate. Her major was Interpretation.

Nathanael Chen is Living Water Christian Church's Youth Pastor and serves together with his wife. As the child of a a senior pastor, he bravely chose full-time ministry, a challenging path. Nathanael has a great burden for the youth and is dedicated to the youth ministry. He longs to see the next generation raised up. He invites young people to respond to God's call, becoming part of God's army. In recent years, he has also devoted himself to the "Beacon Lighters," co-leading teams to campuses to initiate prayer movements, raising and calling young people to respond to the calling of "Nazirite lifestyle," setting their lives apart, and engaging in mission movements to fulfill the Great Commission given by God.

Elizabeth Chen

After returning to Taiwan from the United States, under the guidance of God, All Nations International Team Member Elizabeth and her husband, Pastor Matt Chen, were called by God to develop and pastor a church. Elizabeth began to receive God's vision for the younger generation. God told her to raise up this generation. Initially, she thought God was reminding her to raise up her own children, but what God referred to was the youth of the entire generation. She started organizing summer camps, which grew from small church camps to the SHINE Camp, which is now attended by over a thousand students annually, allowing her to witness the hundred-fold fruit.

She was deeply moved by the Holy Spirit and began preaching about a life of purity, which wasn't being preached early on by many. Every summer, besides the SHINE camp, Living Water Christian Church also organizes the "222 Timothy Project," using the summer break to teach young people to root themselves in God's truth.

Pastor Elizabeth and Pastor Matt also commit to continuously focus on the Kingdom of God and constantly train to raise more leaders for the next generation. They are clear that God wants to use them to lead the youth of the entire city, raising this generation to influence the next one. Elizabeth is a graduate of Tulsa, OK USA-based Oral Roberts University.

What is Mission’s Edge?

If you or someone you know has a heart to see increased fruit in their ministries and missions endeavors, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn among ministry and missions leaders! In 2023, we are changing our online gatherings to this year and we are focusing on strategic conversations around finding the best ways to work together to fulfill the Great Commission. A part of our dialogue each quarter will dive into how to best help us all to partner well. We know believers, ministries, and churches have a unique role in helping to raise up and equip and support current and future generations of missionaries that will go to the places where the name of Jesus is not yet known. We know you will be blessed and we will be blessed by your participation!
