Seeing the Unseen

Joshua took this picture of me while we were in Hong Kong. Such a strange advertisement for something (I didn’t even figure out what it was for…), but it instantly caught my attention and spoke to me. Looking back at my life and how God used me so far, I know I sometimes see the unseen clearly in front of me. It is amazing how God sometimes reveals his dreams and longings and I can see it clearly like a visual picture in front of my inner eyes.

But a picture or vision is useless if we are not stepping out in obedience to ask what we should do with this vision. Is it for me? Us? Or another person? Is it glorifying God? What is the next step to bring life into this vision?

To walk prophetically through life with the expectation that God can speak at any moment and reveal something that can bring life and hope is my heart’s desire.

My prayers have become much more simple in the last years: “Give me your eyes and give me your ears“.

God is a God who is revealing to us things that are still unseen. Be expectant that God will speak. He will do it.
